Senior Design Engineer - Fabrication

In this role, your focus will be on the creative direction, design, engineering and production of 3D shop/technical drawings and environments for brand activations, experiential installations and retail installations. This technical design position is intended for real world applications, not gaming or video.
You must be an expert in Rhino3D, have the ability to create detailed drawings for client visuals and shop production files.
You will work with the Director of Design as well our production team. You will oversee elements of the creative, design and engineering process. Tasks will include research, technical direction, renderings, presentations, technical and shop drawings. You will read and review 3D designs and technical drawings.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in millwork, fabrication and materials is required
- Proficient in design, engineering and 3D models in Rhino primarily
- Project administration and production experience preferred
- Comprehension of CNC router & 3D milling process as well as various wood, acrylic & metal fabrication techniques and machinery
- 3+ years’ experience in 3D environmental design and manufacturing or similar role
- Must be detail-oriented, dedicated, reliable, dynamic, enthusiastic
- Able to solve problems independently and successfully complete tasks with good judgment
- Must have good communication skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of the larger team.
- Mastery in computer efficiency (3D or otherwise)
- Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign proficiency a plus
- Impeccable eye for design detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of materials

You will be responsible for prospecting contacts with a de ned account list, identifying new business opportunities, conducting face-to-face presentations with clients, solidifying projects by working closely with clients’ creative and visual teams and presenting design-based, creative solutions.

Senior Project Manager - Fabrication

In this role, you manage and run custom fabrication projects from concept to completion, while maintaining strict milestone timelines. You will work with the Vice President of Production as well as Account Directors. You will oversee all elements of the production of projects assigned to you and assume 100% ownership of the details including sourcing, purchasing, installation requirements, working to produce 3D renderings, technical drawings, prototypes.
This is a super fast-paced environment. Our projects are demanding and can often come to us with tight constraints. They require focus and efficiency in order to be able to deliver a high level of quality in the time frame allotted.

- 5+ years’ experience in a production planning role with specific industry related experience dealing with three dimensional custom fabrication projects
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be detail-oriented, dedicated, be reliable, dynamic, enthusiastic
- Able to stay calm in very high-pressure situations and maintain a positive attitude
- Able to solve problems on your own and get the job done with good judgment
- Ability to get a daily ‘to-do’ list crossed off at the end of each day is essential
- Must have good communication skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team player, accept suggestions and critique
- Book of reliable installer/fabricator contacts is A +
- Rendering (3D or otherwise), Photoshop/InDesign proficiency A +
- Fabrication experience a must
